Melanie Breedveld
As an experienced and enthusiastic employment lawyer, I advise and support all kinds of organizations, profit or non-profit, governments, educational institutions and individuals. I am active in all areas of labour law. From individual and collective dismissal cases, supervision of employee participation processes to drafting and updating employment contracts, management contracts and employment conditions.
I like to work in close collaboration with the customer, so that I can properly establish the connection between business interests and personal interests. I want to ensure that those interests are properly aligned.
I am registered as a lawyer at the Dutch Bar Association (Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten) (Prinses Beatrixlaan 5, 2595 AK Den Haag, 070-335 35 35, [email protected]).
I am a member of the Association of Employment Lawyers Eastern Netherlands (VAARA), of the Association of Employment Lawyers Breda \ ‘s-Hertogenbosch (VAR) and of the Association of Employment Lawyers Netherlands (VAAN). Each year I earn at least 16 training points for my specialization in labour law.

Jokelien Brouwer-Harbach
I have been a lawyer since 2001. I started in employment law and have always stuck to it. My motivation? Guiding clients through a difficult situation or preventing difficult situations by thinking ahead. I believe in labour law professional knowledge alone is not enough to be a good lawyer. It’s also important to have empathy and the courage to hold up a mirror to your client are just as important. I consciously bring these aspects together in my way of working.
